Yesterday Apple released its newest stable version of firmware, iOS 7.1.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. If you have updated your device with the latest iOS version and wants to gain super user access its internal file system and enjoy the benefit of Cydia Application, then you can use this guide to Jailbreak iOS 7.1.2 with Mac or Windows PC. When Pangu Jailbreak was first released it was not available for Mac OS user, which created a lot of problems to the i-device owner as a huger number of iPhone/iPad/iPod owner uses the Mac OS. Note :- This guide is applicable to iOS 7.1.2 only, if you’re still using the jailed iOS 7.1 or iOS 7.1.1 firmware and want’s to update your device then Open Setting > General > Software Update > and confirm the installation. But if you’re jailbroken, then you may need to use iTunes to get the update installed on your device.

Though it belongs from an UNKNOWN source, but iOS developers have confirmed that this software is completely clean and it doesn’t install any other 3rd party application during jailbreak process except the Cydia App and PPsync. How to Jailbreak iOS 7.1.2 – Mac OS

1) First of all you need to get the Pangu software on your mac computer, to do that head over to Pangu Official Website and hit the download button (Mac) and save it to your desktop.

2) Open Pangu.dmg on your Mac and double click the Pangu icon to launch the application.

3) If you have enabled Passcode lock on your device, please turn it off.

4) Now connect your i-device to Mac computer via the original Apple USB Cable.

5) Wait for the device to be detected via Pangu, click the black Jailbreak button.

6) Now Pangu will ask you to go to Setting > General > Date & Time > and Turn Off “Set Automatically” option > Now set the date to June 2, 2014. (No need to change the time, just scroll the date to June 2, 2014 and you’re good to go.)

7) When you done that, Pangu will start the Jailbreak and you’ll see that Progress bar is running.

8) After few second, you’ll get a message on Pangu windows > Please Tap the “Pangu” icon on your device to continue < so find the pangu app on your device and tap it, then tap the Continue button.

9) Wait patiently and the jailbreak will continue. You will be asked to unlock your device after it reboots.

Note :- While the jailbreak is going on you device might reboot 2 to 3 times, so don’t panic.

Congratulation, you have successfully Jailbreak iOS 7.1.2 with Mac OS. By now you should have located the Cydia Application on your apps drawer, open it and let the cydia reloads it packages. How to Jailbreak iOS 7.1.2 from Windows

If you’re using a Windows PC and wants to Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad or iPod touch running iOS 7.1.2 then make sure to follow this guide instead of one given above.

1) Download the latest version of Pangu iOS 7.1.x Jailbreak software from this link.

2) It’s a .exe (executable) file, so double click it to run it.

3) Remove any Passcode from your device if you have it enabled.

4) Now connect your i-device to your Windows Computer, via original USB cable.

5) Wait for the device to be detected via Pangu, click the black Jailbreak button.
